Mason or Scott???

This is our first baby and we’re having trouble deciding on a name for our baby boy. The good thing is, we’ve narrowed it down to two: Mason or Scott. Mason is a really unique name whereas Scott is a really cute baby boy name.

    I like Scott becase it sounds like a good baseball player name, or an Indy Car driver’s name. It’s a boy thing.

    I say go for both. Mason Scott Chang. Kind of has a ring to it.

    Cathy, not sure if you included Scott in your distribution, but I wonder which one he will pick. Hmmmm….. =) I’m with Hsin. It does sound nice. I’d go with Mason Scott too. And you guys thought you only had only 2 choices to narrow down! Ha! But seriously, both names would be great for Baby Chang, so it’s a winner either way! Can’t wait to see the little face. BTW, I had a weird dream about helping you give birth. Very bazaar…I was there when your water broke. Can’t remember much of it though.

    I vote Scott.

    Mason is of English origin, and its meaning is “one who works with stone”.

    I vote Mason.

    John is of Hebrew origin, and its slang meaning is “place where people relieve themselves”. =)

    I dunno…I like Mason better because its unique, but it makes me think of the Free Mason party and some corrupt secret society, but hey…whateva makes ya happy :)

    Personally, I prefer Scott. Mason is just a bit different. The first thing that comes to my warped mind is a Mason jar.

    My vote is for Mason!! It’s unique and sounds powerful. Scott is too common….

    I like Scott. My English sucks so Mason reminds me of mace (spray).
